Joining ISOGG

This society is a non-commercial non-profit organization. There are NO dues or fees to join, it is entirely self-supporting by its members. YOU choose what you wish to give. Whether it's your time to give a presentation or host a workshop at your local genealogical society, or create photocopies to promote the society at a convention, it is up to you. You will not be asked to spend your time or contribute in a way you do not wish to. You may never end up participating in that manner, but may just join to learn and network, and that is okay too.

The name was chosen by vote in March 2005, and reflects that those supportive of promoting genetic genealogy desire an inclusive society at an international level. Our membership is over 8,000 with members residing in: Algeria, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, CuraƧao, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mariana Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Wales, United Arab Emirates, United States, Venezuela and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
