Bioresolve, Inc. was a private company operating in Ottawa, Canada, which ceased operations/trading some time prior to February 2012. Bioresolve offered DNA analysis for susceptibility to 192 diseases, conditions, and traits. The company was part of the growing personal genomics industry, which offers genetic scans and analysis to individuals and physicians for a variety of applications.[1] In February 2009, BioResolve announced its flagship product, the personal genetic test kit at $299 USD.
Customer complaints
Bioresolve received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau in 2009 for failing to respond to multiple customer complaints, mostly about people not receiving the results of their screening.[2] It was noted that the company was based at a residential address in Gatineau, Quebec.
