After our family has
been searching for at least 50 years for ancestors of my great
grandfather, John W. "Crews", DNA has proven that my
line was actually "Screws". Two descendants of
two brothers (sons) of my 4rd great grandfather (abt 1742, Isle
of Wight,VA -1807, Nash Co., NC), were DNA tested at FTDNA
on 67 markers for a
100% match. I matched them on 66 out of 67. It doesn't get
much better than that. Never give up hope. |
